SUBMITTED ARTICLE

MONTEREY COUNTY — Regular registration period for the Monterey County Artists Open Studio Tour was originally scheduled to end May 5 but has been extended to May 31. Fees increase after that date. Final registration deadline is June 16.

The tour takes place Sept. 23 and 24 in Coastal, Peninsula and Carmel Valley locations; and Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Salinas, Salinas Valley and North and South County locations.

For artists who do not have a studio, Arts Habitat has arranged for use of the following locations, at no additional cost to participants: member wineries of the River Road Wine Trail Association; model homes at East Garrison; the Elkhorn Slough Foundation’s Porter Ranch House; Oldemeyer Center in Seaside; the Carl Cherry Center in Carmel; and Hidden Valley Music Seminars in Carmel Valley.

Go to ArtsHabitat.org for details and registration forms.
