GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Lady Bruins won their third league game last week, defeating the King City Lady Mustangs 10-9 last Tuesday in Greenfield. Andrea Pantoja led Greenfield with a double and a triple. Ariel Carrillo had two hits with an RBI and Janette Miranda had a hit and an RBI.

Madison Owens hit a three-run homer for King City and Alexus Andrade contributed with a double. Julyssa Arreola and Lauren Johnson added doubles. Mikayla Davis took the pitching loss.

The King City Lady Broncos lost 14-3 to Greenfield. Kathy Acero had two strikeouts at pitcher for King City. Jasmine Guillen, Paola Garcia, Elena Vazquez, and Mair Cenobio went 1 x 3 at the plate for the Lady Broncos.

The King City varsity was beaten 13-3 in a game played last Thursday in Soledad. Lauren Johnson finished with two hits and Anahi Camacho led King City with three hits. In the JV contest Soledad defeated the Lady Broncos, 16-4. Acero took the loss and Chelsy Lopez went 1 x 2 and Mari Cenobio went 1 x 3.

In games this week King City hosted Carmel yesterday and play at Pacific Grove tomorrow afternoon. Greenfield played at Stevenson yesterday and play at Gonzales tomorrow.
