SOUTH COUNTY — More than $26,000 was raised last Friday during the Fifth Annual Casino Night benefitting Rancho Cielo at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City.

About 108 Salinas Valley residents attended the April 5 event, in which all proceeds from the evening’s casino games went toward Rancho Cielo Youth Campus.

The funds will help provide Rancho Cielo students with job training and support for achieving their dreams of earning a high school diploma.
