Thank you for support

I would like to thank all of those who made this season’s Loaves and Fishes a huge success. The community stepped up like they always do and donated monetarily to the program. Without their generous donations, we would not be able to operate. A big “thank you” also goes out to the many volunteers who donated their time and energy to make Loaves and Fishes run so smoothly.

I can’t list everyone who helped, but I would like to recognize two gentlemen who donated many hours of their time and energy every week. A big thanks goes to John Albanese and Manuel Saenz.

Some of our other regular volunteers this year were Della Teneyuque, Karen Parks, Linda and Angie Perez, Sarah Wells and Rosendo Cortez. Andrea Benavides, Marilee Kline, Ken Kline and Stephanie Bengard came to our rescue this year, helping with each week’s vegetable donations.

I know there are others who I have forgotten to mention, but the King City community is so fortunate to have the volunteers and the monetary donors who help so that we can provide for the needy in our community.

Again, thank you to all of you. I could not do my job without all of you.

Sharon M. Hornlein
Program Director, King City
