Eleanor Robles, 81, passed away peacefully August 18th, 2017 in Antelope, CA surrounded by her family. Services were held at St Theodores Catholic Church and she was laid to rest with her mother Maria De Jesus Aguinaga at Gonzales Cemetery.
Eleanor was born on July 1st, 1936 in Matanzas, Mexico. She spent most of her life in her beloved town of Gonzales, married and had her two daughters who she loved and cherished. Eleanor worked in the packing sheds and later in life as a caregiver, where she met friends that she has carried to her last days. Eleanor treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She traveled the world and country to visit with family and friends. She was an active parishioner of St. Theodore’s Catholic Church and a member of the Friends of the Redeemers. She loved her Sisters and Father Luis whom she held very dear to her heart. Of her accomplishments, one of her proudest was when she became a naturalized citizen. Eleanor was also an avid San Francisco Giants fan and loved the game of baseball.
Eleanor is survived by Martin Figueroa (brother), by her two daughters Martha (Mike Rose) and Lisa (Chris Castor), grandson Michael, granddaughters Diane, Brenda, Amanda (Michael Strange) and Adriana, great granddaughters Alicia, Mckenna, Mikaela and Sophia and numerous nieces and nephews.
