GONZALES — Gonzales Community Church held its annual Baked Potato Luncheon on Nov. 16 and served many Gonzales residents.

The luncheon is a fundraiser for the Community Church and has been occurring for at least 10 years. Serving the potatoes, salad, drink and dessert to luncheon goers was church volunteers.

Volunteer Linda Fellows said the church wanted more people to come to have a great time.

“We’re not in it to make money, we’re just in it for the social part of it,” said Fellows.
